- 분자레고를 통한 나노초분자의 건축, 분자 인식, 이온교환체 성능 연구. 
- 결정공학을 이용한 배위고분자의 합성 및 나노기공 제어. 
- 스위칭분자의 합성 및 분자내전자전이 현상 규명.
